Swordmaster Cloud: Another Choice for Confused Server Owners

The reason for writing this blog is simple:

Because there is a rebate recommendation, so I wrote it. Yes, I admit qwq. Well, it's not that shameless, mainly I want to share my experience in choosing a cloud service provider. Actually, I really dislike those "marketing" type articles (they might as well stick the words "buy it!" on your face), but this time, I genuinely feel like I can write about it. If you are willing to click on my rebate link, please do (thank you for your support 👉 Swordsman Cloud), but if not, it's fine, just consider this a casual chat~

Why do I use Swordsman Cloud?#

To start from the beginning, I initially used Tencent Cloud. Well, you know the price, it's particularly expensive (wallet shaking.jpg). The most ridiculous thing is that if you get hit by a DDoS attack, the machine gets directly banned, and you have to wait one or two days for it to be lifted, it feels like being locked in a small black room. Later, I also used Yuyun, and the service was indeed very good, ticket responses were quick, the attitude was nice, and there were no headaches from DDoS issues. The problem was... at that time my financial situation wasn't great, so I didn't continue using it.

As for Swordsman Cloud, I really didn't have high hopes at first. After all, a service provider of this scale shouldn't be better than the big companies, right? I even suspected it might be a scam company (not). But after trying it, I found it quite reliable.

Impressions of Swordsman Cloud#

Later, I saw the promotion of Swordsman Cloud in a bunch of MC group chats (they sponsored communities like Leaf and Leaves, so they often get mentioned, but it's usually just casually bringing up their own products). With a try-it-out mentality, I helped a server owner test Swordsman Cloud. During that time, I chatted with quite a few server owners, and they might trust me (?
I often helped them out.

First of all:

  1. Cheap (really cost-effective)

I have to say, their packages are really cost-effective among similar offerings. Whether it's i9-13900HK, R9-7950X, or 9950X, these CPUs with particularly important single-core performance for MC server owners are all provided. They are generous with bandwidth, memory, CPU cores, bandwidth, and storage.

If one day I get inspired, I might even create a detailed purchasing guide? If I do, I'll post it here, but it might take a long time to gather accurate information = =

  2. Network Latency/Protection

Their network is also strong; they promote it as a nationwide multi-line BGP network, with an average domestic latency of only about 25ms, and they emphasize that they have a second-level unblocking and DDoS cleaning mechanism to resist large traffic attacks.

This is indeed very important for me and many server owners; many service providers sell DDoS protection separately, but Swordsman Cloud has it by default, and it's unlimited. There's no need to worry about my server being attacked again, nor do I have to spend extra money on protection or worry about this and that.

  1. Service Attitude

There might just be one customer service person (hhhh), but the attitude is really good. They can solve problems, and if latency increases, they will help you handle it. There was a large DDoS incident before, and many cloud providers suffered. Swordsman Cloud couldn't hold up at that time either, but at least they provided compensation and helped switch to a high-defense data center. I think this attitude is quite responsible; in the past, those irresponsible ones would just run away (because I've encountered that before555). My communication with Swordsman Cloud's customer service felt responsible, and they even support you calling them, at least I feel like contacting customer service is like asking a friend for help, rather than dealing with a cold service machine zzz

It's perfect for beginners because they can even help you solve problems for free that you encounter on your Minecraft server; they call it "virtual coffee," meaning they help you pay to treat experts to coffee to solve your problems (wow, this trick is brilliant).

  2. Stability and User Experience

The interface is standard, not complicated, and not difficult to use; the overall performance is just "normal," which is very important because some providers can't even achieve "normal."

Why Recommend?#

It's actually very simple:

  • If you are a Minecraft server owner, finding a cloud service provider can be a headache.
  • Expensive big companies are prone to attacks and require waiting, while cheap small companies are likely to run away and often have explosive latency.
  • In my eyes, Swordsman Cloud is a relatively balanced choice: cost-effective, reliable service attitude, and performance that matches the price.

Of course, everyone's needs are different; I'm not saying Swordsman Cloud is the only choice. When choosing a cloud service, you should consider various factors: price, stability, after-sales service, various configuration parameters, etc., and it's best to compare several options. In any case, I hope my sharing helps you; if you are also struggling to find a cloud host, consider adding Swordsman Cloud to your shortlist.

Finally#

If you happen to be confused and want to find a reliable server, you can check out Swordsman Cloud 👉 https://cloud.swordsman.com.cn/?ib8c5bc
(This is my rebate link; if you buy through it, I can get a small commission qwq, thank you for your support~)

If you feel uneasy, you can definitely compare it with other providers. My attitude is very simple: I recommend it because I think it's worth recommending, but the choice is always in your hands.

If you have been scammed a few times like me, you will understand why I wrote this article, haha.
